Description
The Tropical Combat Uniform was the standard uniform of US soldiers during the Vietnam War. It was developed in the early 1960s to withstand the extreme climatic conditions of the jungle.
The uniform was made of a light cotton poplin that dried quickly, was light and at the same time very robust. The jacket and trousers had various spacious pockets for storing equipment such as maps etc. Button strips were covered so that plants or similar could not get caught.
The following details characterize our 1966 Jungle Pant:
– 100% cotton
– authentic wide cut
– large leg pocket
– small inside pocket on the left leg
– manufacturer’s stamp
– Made in Turkey
